District Nurses were out this morning for both me and Dad. Ann is very nice, been doing it for decades. They were trying to get blood from him but hes too bruised up his veins have all collapsed. So theyre sending out their dracula on Monday who knows how to do the butterflies for a better chance of getting some. See his calcium levels have to be checked regularly now because they go all outta whack suddenly. They also mentioned hospice care for him but he told em straight he wants to be at home with us. He accompanied me to the postbox earlier. We had a lovely chat, just us. He took a rest at the bus shelter and he talked about how much he loves the outdoors. I so wish I could send them on a surprise weekend away in Wales on something. I know he loves it there. The second stair rail and washing machine were fixed too. Well accomplished day in all.
