Thursday night was another awful one. Mum was up with Dad till 5am. His pain level through the roof. The 20mg Oxycodone wasnt enough. So after trying with both his breakthrough meds (paracetamol and Oxynorm) we gave him a third Oxy. The GP did say we could try upto 30mg if he needed. So we did and thank god he settled after that. I got no sleep that night as Mum was in and out asking me what to give him periodically as each didnt work...then we spent that day in our pjs dozing on and off. We've put all his Oxy upto 30mg seeing as that works. I'll call the GP first thing tomorrow to arrange a home visit as hes too unsteady on his feet. Just to go over his meds etc. He has that scan at Fairfield tomorrow. Fingers crossed it all goes well.
