Oh what lovely messages in the guestbook today. Thank you so much everyone Today once again Dad was his usual goofy self. We are treasuring these moments and loving them for what they are, more memories because we know the wellness hes experiencing now will be short lived. His love for food has returned with a vengeance! His currently cant get enough toast, around 3am I hear him sneaking down the stairs and the cooler going on despite him having toast for breakie n supper lol. We must get a toaster so he doesnt have to light the cooker with a match. Its as old as the hills, 20 yrs + surprised it still works at all. This evening we all sat in the living room and watched old episodes of Nurse Jackie that showed on BBC2 last year, he had recorded. Hes very much looking forward to our daddy daughter outting in Bury tomorrow to get a few groceries. Talks about how we'll make a stop at our fave lil cafe inside BHS for a drink to take with our tablets. I booked Ring & Ride to make it easier as he cannot walk far anymore. Mums a tad worried if ill be able to cope with him on my own when he gets into his confused states at random or starts wandering. I looked after a 2 and 6 year old unaided in the US in Walmart and in the home, I'm very confident I can manage him. I made him promise to let me take the lead so he stays outta trouble, he agreed and I always carry my phone on me. Will let ya all know tomorrow night how it all went. Goodnight Everyone xxxxxxx
